“Gene” – a documentary celebrating the life and legacy of the Honourable Gene Zwozdesky

Join the Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre (URDC) and the Alberta Local and International Education Association (ALIEA) at MacEwan University for a special prescreening of “Gene”, a documentary celebrating the life and legacy of Hon. Gene Zwozdesky and his lasting impact on Edmonton and Alberta.

Gene Zwozdesky was an outstanding politician and an active member of Ukrainian-Canadian community. The preview of this documentary is a great opportunity to pay respect to Gene Zwozdesky’s contribution to various fields of the wellbeing of our society, as well as his input into developing Alberta’s connection to Ukraine.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this special event where, in addition to the documentary viewing, the audience members will get a chance to participate in a Q&A session and stay for a reception afterwards.
