Our programs
The Edmonton Catholic Schools Ukrainian Bilingual Parent Advisory Society is a non-profit organization, operated by a Board of Directors who are parent volunteers. The Society supports the Edmonton Catholic Schools Ukrainian Bilingual Program from kindergarten to grade 6 at St. Martin and St. Matthew elementary schools; Grade 7 to 9 at St. Brendan and Grade 10 to 12 at Austin O’Brien High School.
Our organization has been an active supporter of the Ukrainian Bilingual Program since 1974. We work very closely with the schools and the Edmonton Catholic School Board to meet the needs of the students in the Ukrainian Bilingual Program.
We provide support for the Ukrainian Bilingual Program – financially, morally and politically
We take a proactive role in supporting and promoting the program, in cooperation with the schools and the Edmonton Catholic School Board
We undertake fundraising activities in order to sponsor and/or subsidize the cost of cultural/religious projects/events; field trips; scholarship program; library/classroom resources; advertising.
Our fees
We don’t charge membership fees and every parent is welcome to join our board!
