Your generous contribution will help us cover the costs of Ukrainian Day 2025

For years, our Ukrainian Day celebration has been a gathering of hearts, heritage, and hope — a place where generations come together, where children dance to the songs of their grandparents, where our traditions are not only remembered but lived.

Unfortunately, our usual location has suffered damage, and the village is still not open — meaning it may not be ready in time. That’s why we are preparing to bring this celebration into the city — where even more people can experience the beauty of Ukrainian culture, music, food, and spirit.

📣 This campaign is powered by Crowdfunding Alberta — a Government of Alberta platform to support local community initiatives.

💙 Every contribution brings us closer to a bright, bold, and inclusive Ukrainian Day 2025. Please note that, unfortunately, this crowdfunding campaign does not allow us to issue donation receipts.

Official Symbol of Ukrainian Day 2025 🇨🇦
We are proud to unveil the official emblem of this year’s Ukrainian Day in Edmonton — a powerful tree that represents the strength and unity of two cultures: Ukrainian and Albertan.
“United by Roots and Spirit” symbolizes our deep cultural roots, unwavering resilience, and shared pursuit of freedom.
🔷 The branches represent Alberta’s growing Ukrainian community — now nearly 9% of the province’s population.
🔷 The roots shaped as a trident reflect our heritage, strength, and history.
🔷 The Alberta crest signifies unity in our new home.
Together, we are stronger.
