WWI Internment Monument Unveiling

You are invited to attend the unveiling of an Internment monument commemorating the men, women and children jailed as “enemy aliens” during Canada’s first national Internment operations of 1914 to 1920.
The unveiling and commemorative program will be held on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Vegreville Pysanka Park, 4500 Pysanka Avenue, Vegreville, Alberta
The event is organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Foundation.
