Why?

Alberta has an incredible number of Ukrainian language schools and courses. These programs exist in Edmonton, Calgary, Sherwood Park and Vegreville. Now all of this information is available in one place! You can expect to get informed about the variety of Ukrainian language education options in Alberta for EVERYONE!

Who?

This valuable resource was developed for young people seeking to begin Ukrainian language studies, new immigrants, youth, and adults interested in enhancing their language or who wish to learn the language.

How?

You can navigate the site using the following subsections: 

For Students [HL to the section]

The section hosts information about K-12 bilingual programs within the Alberta school system, heritage Saturday schools, adult language classes, preschools (Sadochok) and university language courses. The schools are located across the province. 

Community Partners [HL to the section]

The section hosts information about Ukrainian community organizations that support the development and advancement of Ukrainian language studies in Alberta. These organizations typically offer resources, funding or scholarships.

For Educators (coming soon)

The section will host curriculum-based information about Ukraine, Holodomor, Ukrainian settlement in Alberta, and other valuable resources.
