St. Volodymyr School of Ukrainian Studies is a Ukrainian heritage language school serving the community of Lloydminster and surrounding areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The school is dedicated to preserving and promoting Ukrainian language, culture, and traditions while fostering a strong sense of identity and pride in Ukrainian heritage.
Our school provides a welcoming and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and connect with Ukrainian history, values, and community life.
St. Volodymyr School of Ukrainian Studies offers in-person classes with a focus on:
Ukrainian language development (speaking, reading, and writing)
Ukrainian traditions, customs, and cultural heritage
Ukrainian history and national identity
Music, songs, and creative activities
Participation in cultural and community celebrations
Classes are designed to be age-appropriate and engaging, supporting students with different levels of language proficiency.
Schedule: classes are held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
