The Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Alberta Provincial Council, partnering with the Ukrainian Culutral Heritage Village, invites everyone to attend the annual Ukrainian Day Festival at the Ukrainian Village on Sunday August 7, and celebrate all things Ukrainian! This years’ theme of ”Kanada-Ukraina 120: Groundbreakers-Nation-Builders-Trailblazers” will be in celebration of the 120th anniversary of Ukrainian settlement in Canada, and will set the tone of the event reflecting both the cultural history and current reality of Alberta’s Ukrainian Canadian Community. UCC-APC is also honoured to announce that the Honourable Premier Ed Stelmach, the first Alberta Premier of Ukrainian ancestry, will attend this year’s Ukrainian Day as a special guest.
