DESCRIPTION:Ukrainian Resettlement in Edmonton Jennifer Long\, PhD\, and Sofiia Budianska explored how Ukrainian Canadians supported newcomers to Edmonton and examined their experiences since March 2022. Findings highlight the crucial role Ukrainian-Edmontonians played in bridging settlement service gaps. \nImpact of Temporary Status on Ukrainian Youth in Canada under the CUAET Program Dr. Jeff Stepnisky\, Dr. Elizabeth Burgess-Pinto\, and Dr. Oksana Tashkinova\, with Dalhousie University’s Resilience Research Centre\, are studying the impact of temporary status on Ukrainian youth under the CUAET program. The research examines temporary visa policies\, stakeholder roles\, and service coordination. \nMothering in Exile Dr. Elizabeth Burgess-Pinto\, Dr. Olabisi Oyalema\, Larysa Hayduk\, and artist Slinko explore the challenges faced by displaced Ukrainian mothers in Canada under temporary visas.
