Come out to the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, August 13th, from 9 to 5, to celebrate all things Ukrainian.
This year marks the end of the special celebration of the 125th anniversary of Ukrainians in Canada, as well as a special tribute to Canada 150.

Our main event is a concert showcase starting at 2 that will feature multicultural groups: Shumka, Balada ‒ Romanian Dancers, Polonez ‒ Polish Dancers, Euphoria Band, Korinnya Choir of Calgary, and the Prince Charles Fiddlers ‒ Metis Band.

The annual Luchkovich Award will be presented at 2, and this year’s recipients are Genia Leskiw, andposthumously Andrew Shandro. The award recognizes the significant contribution and dedication recipients produce to the betterment of all Canadians. Genia is recognized for her active involvement in her local community and the Ukrainian community in the province. She will accept the award at Ukrainian Day.

In the morning from 9 to 11 there will be a pancake breakfast.
At 11:15 there will be a ceremony for the opening of the Galician Settlers Farmstead.
