The Centenary Pioneer Recognition Program
- under the patronage of the UCC-APC - honours all pioneer Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian families, who settled in east central Alberta prior to 1915. Eligible pioneers are recognized on Ukrainian Day. Applicants are not required to be current residents of the original homestead. This year the Program is accepting nominations for people who settled in east central Alberta in 1910 or earlier. Return nomination forms to the Programs' office by June 30, 2010. To learn more visit the website.
