YIP Youth Conference
November 11-13, 2005

As part of the Youth Interface Project, the UCC-APC coordinated a Youth Conference in Canmore, Alberta for November 11-13, 2005.

Participants from Edmonton, Calgary, Camrose, Calmar, Vegreville, Two Hills, and Morinville were transported from stops in Edmonton and Calgary out to the Conference site.

The Chateau Canmore in Canmore, Alberta warmly hosted our Conference. Many thanks to the hotel staff that accommodated our requests.

In total, 50 participants networked with youth from across the province representing many different sections of the Ukrainian community in Alberta.

Sessions included Getting Together, A Day in Hollywood... A Night in Ukraine, Political Participation - How to Get Involved, Youth - Our Future, Ukraine's 2004 Presidential & 2006 Parliamentary Elections, Exchanges - Our Links with Ukraine, and Getting the Bucks - Show Me the Money. Thanks to all presenters who made the special trip to join us this weekend and those participants that also served as presenters.
