Dr. David Marples, University Professor in the Department of History & Classics and director of the Stasiuk Program on Contemporary Ukraine at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, University of Alberta, presenting his keynote address on the topic “Ukraine: The Fate of the Orange Revolution”.

Alberta’s great Ukrainian community representatives and guests enjoying pleasant celebrating atmosphere at the 6th Annual Hetman Banquet of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Alberta Provincial Council.


Program was followed by a live auction: Eileen Broda holding an original oil painting donated by a visual artist Stefan Melnychenko.


UCC-APC encourages youth to actively participate in the Ukrainian community life – Maryna Goncharenko and Yuliya Wawrykowicz volunteering at the reception desk.
